Write notes on the backs of business cards you collect. Record anything you think may be useful in remembering each person more clearly. This will come in handy when you follow up with your new contacts.
While there are few networking events occurring during the holidays, this is a good time to review your contacts. Send a note to those you have not seen for a while and schedule some time to reconnect after the first of the year. Or, if you are not away on vacation, you may even make time to reconnect with a few people who are also in town during the holidays.
