S4 Group hosts Illinois State Representative Sara Feigenholtz

The S4 Group, LLC team gathered clients, friends, and supporters of State Representative Sara Feigenholtz in their new office in Skokie for a joint “office-warming” and fundraising event on Wednesday, August 26th.

The intimate soiree celebrated the return of S4 Group’s CEO Yehiel Mark Kalish to the Chicago area after several years in New York City, where he served as the Vice President of Agudath Israel of America before co-founding S4 Group. Many friends and members of the Chicago Jewish community came to shake his hand and wish him well in this exciting next phase of his career.

S4 Group was also honored to host Representative Feigenholtz, who has represented Illinois’s 12th District since 1995 and has long been a strong advocate for accessible health care, human services, and adoption reform. This past session Rep. Feigenholtz sponsored legislation to add companies that boycott Israel to the state’s divestiture requirements, to grant advanced practice nurses the authority to prescribe medication, to allow craft brewers more distribution rights, and to reinstate happy hour specials, all of which were signed into law.

State Representative Lou Lang, the Deputy Majority Leader in the House, has represented Illinois’s 16th District since 1988. Representative Lang joined the festivities on Wednesday to welcome Mr. Kalish and to congratulate Representative Feigenholtz on her illustrious career serving her constituents and the state of Illinois.

“Representative Feigenholtz is at the top of the top of people in Springfield who truly care about what they do,” said Representative Lang. “Bills are not just bills to Sara. She gets up every morning wondering what she can do to improve the lives of the people of Illinois.”

Mr. Kalish worked closely this past session with Representatives Feigenholtz and Lang to pass legislation enabling Hatzalah Chicago, a local emergency medical service provider, to use emergency lights on their vehicles when responding to urgent calls. Representative Feigenholtz said working with Mr. Kalish made “a world of difference” on this issue.

“If you’re working with Yehiel, you’re working with the right guy,” she said. “He’s never defeated.”
